Hossein Dehnavifard designed the auxiliary system responsible for cooling various subsystems within the locomotive. He developed a simple volt/Hz control for each subsystem to regulate the cooling process efficiently.
He also took the requirements for the amount of air needed for each subsystem, including the traction system, energy storage, alternator, and grids. Hossein then designed an air circuit and implemented V/Hz control to blow air over these components, ensuring optimal cooling and system performance.
